Central Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. (“CEPCI”), the wholesale power purchasing cooperative of South Carolina’s retail electric distribution cooperatives, has designed the Central Meter Hub (“CMH”) to provide month-to-date meter data (the “Data”) to CEPCI’s member retail electric distribution cooperatives and their respective authorized retail member/consumers (Central’s member cooperatives and their authorized retail member/consumers, collectively, the “Authorized Users”).

CEPCI is providing the Data to Authorized Users for informational purposes only. The Data is not billing-ready.*

Although CEPCI endeavors to ensure the accuracy of the Data prior to making it available to Authorized Users in CMH, the Data ultimately may not match actual billed usage. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE DATA, AUTHORIZED USERS (A) ACKNOWLEDGE THAT CEPCI (1) MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY REGARDING THE COMPLETENESS OR ACCURACY OF DATA; AND (2) EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS RELATING TO THE DATA, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; AND (B) AGREE TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES OF EVERY TYPE AND DESCRIPTION AGAINST CEPCI ARISING FROM AN AUTHORIZED USER’S ACCESS OR USE OF THE DATA.

1. The Data may not reflect the billed units on the monthly power bill or other reports because (a) there are two separate processes for calculating usage for billing and for importing the Data; and (b) the Data may be adjusted, edited or corrected for billing purposes after it is imported into CMH, so CMH would not reflect such changes.
2. Actual billing-ready data has been fully validated prior to preparation of monthly bills to ensure its correctness and accuracy. Because the Data imported into CMH is preliminary in nature, it has not been validated prior to being made available in CMH to Authorized Users.
